wm-tara-williamson.JPGTara Williamson recently joined Winmark Homes as the new Vice President of Land Acquisition.In this role Williamson will conduct real estate market research and lead Winmark's growth into areas outside of Gwinnett and Forsyth counties in metro Atlanta.She is pleased to join a forward-thinking company like Winmark, which continues to set growth plans even though the housing market has slowed.

Williamson holds a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Tourism Management from Virginia Tech.She is a licensed real estate agent in Georgia, a Member Institute of Residential Marketing, and is Certified Marketing Professional.Winmark Homes is proud to welcome her into the company.

ATLANTA - Two of Winmark Homes' employees vowed to find a cure for breast cancer when they participated in the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer Sept. 29 and 30.Winmark's President Michelle Jenkins and Vice President of Land Acquisition Tara Williamson walked 30 miles throughout Atlanta and raised more than $3,000 to help fight breast cancer.

SUWANEE - Tara Williamson recently joined Winmark Homes as the new Vice President of Land Acquisition.In this role, Williamson will conduct real estate market research and lead Winmark's growth into areas outside of Gwinnett and Forsyth counties in metro Atlanta.

Prior to joining Winmark in April, Williamson worked for four years in the Washington, D.C., real estate market and three years in the Atlanta market.She has worked with large home building companies, including Venture Homes, Beazer Homes and Centex Homes.

She said she is pleased to join a forward-thinking company like Winmark, which continues to set growth plans even though the housing market has slowed.

"Winmark is looking to expand to areas closer to I-285 throughout the metro Atlanta area," said Williamson, who lives in-town Atlanta."I will help Winmark Homes diversify its portfolio and tap into different buyers and price points.Winmark is setting a proactive growth goal, recognizing that now is a great opportunity to look for land in others areas of Atlanta."

Williamson said Winmark is aggressively seeking land to purchase at good deals during this time in the real estate market.When the market turns around, Winmark will be ahead of competitors in offering great priced homes in sought-after areas of Atlanta.
