Tanya Kay Williamson

A short story by Cedar Valley College student Tanya Williamson has won first place in the Dallas County Community College District League of Innovation Literary Contest.She will now advance to the League's national competition, to be held at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio, May 1.

The League of Innovation is an international organization dedicated to catalyzing the potential of the community college movement.The League hosts conferences and institutes, develops web resources, conducts research and leads projects and initiatives in an effort to make a positive difference for students and communities.
