After graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in ranch management, Mrs. Williamson ran a ranch operation and developed educational programs through the Texas Agriculture Extension Service.A longtime member and officer of the Texas Cattlewomen, she was a chairperson for the Sponsors Committee of the National Beef Cook-Off in Tucson, Arizona last year and in Fort Worth in 2003.Suzanne has served as the media spokesperson for the Texas Beef Council for the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has been a regular guest contributor to several radio and television shows on agriculture topics.

Mrs. Williamson continues to be involved in agriculture as a volunteer.She created a monthly newsletter and video library on cattle and agriculture issues for the Texas A&M Extension Service, and she is one of the founders of the four-day Farm Day program involving over 5500 students in Dallas public and private schools in food, fiber, grain and livestock education.A lifetime member of the Dallas Agriculture Club and past president of the Beef and Forage Club, Mrs. Williamson enjoys organic gardening, golfing, walking and cooking in her spare time.
