    As former VP of Product Development at Network Solutions, Inc, (now part of VeriSign), Scott oversaw the development and deployment of the Internet Directory Services Technology.The RWhois technology, for which he is co-author, is the distributed information tool for domain and address registration worldwide.At Network Solutions, Scott was also in charge of updating and maintaining the Master Root Server which directs all Internet DNS traffic worldwide.Under his leadership, the domain name registry and root server system grew from less than 2,000 domains to serve tens of millions of names, becoming an integral part of the Internet.

    Scott has also served as Principal Researcher for Thomson Corporation, Program Manager for SNI, and Principal Investigator on the team that won them the InterNIC project contract.His vast experience also includes overseeing other key Internet-related projects including the Defense Data Network NIC and Cellular Digital Packet Data NIC.

    Most recently, Scott served as CTO of NameTree, Inc., a CMGI-funded Internet infrastructure company, delivering the technology to expand and enhance Name Space management, and as VP of Engineering for Digital Envoy, where as part of the executive team, he helped define corporate strategy, as well as leading all aspects of engineering, quality assurance, and support.Scott was also a co-founder of Two5, Inc., where he led innovation in the technology to build localized and categorized industry as well as community specific networks.

    Scott enjoys spending his free time with his wife Debbie, and working and playing on his 14 acre farm.
