  Mr Williamson, RFO, circulated his proposed final version for adoption at the December meeting.This included revised figures for the Clerk's Superannuation & reduced lighting charges.Allowing for unchanged routine payments, draw down of reserves to cover planning & consultancy for Phase 2 of Traffic Calming, a spend of around £5k on Grants & Projects + an unchanged precept of £32k, the overall effect should be that the year will end with an amount in reserves sufficient for cash flow purposes to cover one month's routine payments.Mr Williamson was thanked for his considerable input.

  Proposed by Mr Williamson & seconded by Mrs Stevenson all were in favour of the motion, that in view of the strong village feeling against the mast, we should appeal to the good judgement of the Estate not to proceed.

  Robin Williamson and his wife Priscilla have lived in Balcombe for 35 years.Robin worked in the computer industry from 1963, and retired from law database publisher Context in 2003.He has been Chairman of Balcombe School PTA and treasurer of Balcombe Scouts, and is now Chairman of the Victory Players.He joined the Parish Council in 2003 and served four years as Responsible Financial Officer.He was elected Chairman of the Council in May 2007.
