Prescola began employment in 2002 as the Community Coordinator where she works to develop partnerships and relationships with neighbors and agencies in Highland.Prescola, originally from the Bahamas, brings extensive experience in the field of counseling and education.Prescola spent 22 years teaching various levels of students including Elementary through High School, as well as post secondary.Prescola is the recipient of the 1994 Teacher of the Year Award.

She worked in numerous professional positions as a Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, including clinical supervision and as an Employee Assistance Professional (EAP) counselor.Other areas of expertise include Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) and Substance Abuse Specialist. Prescola has a BS in Education from the University of Miami, a MA in Marriage/Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a PhD in Psychology/Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University.A certified HIV/AIDS Instructor, Prescola volunteers her time with underprivileged children and Hospice.She served on committees at Convention and Association levels of the Southern Baptist and National Baptist and is the Youth Director at New Zion Baptist Inc.
