   Williamson , who served as the Staff Judge Advocate at Hill AFB from 1966-1969 , became a member of the Judge Advocate Generalís Department at the very start of its formation. He began his military career in 1941 as a navigator with the Army Air Corps. During World War II , he flew numerous missions out of both England and France on the B-26 Marauder. After a brief break to complete law school , Williamson returned to military service. He was part of the initial cadre of judge advocates serving on active duty when General Order No. 7 was signed in 1949 , establishing the Judge Advocate Generalís Department as a separate department of the Air Force.
   
   During his career , Williamson served under such well-known judge advocate generals as Maj. Gen.
