At the time of his arrest on May 13, 2006, Williamson, 40, a 13-year police veteran, was assigned to the regional drug squad, which includes members of the RCMP and Thunder Bay Police.Williamson spent nearly four weeks in jail after his arrest before being released on a variety of conditions on June 7, 2006.His father agreed to post $10,000 bail.Williamson was not in court Thursday and Bruzzese offered no explanation as to why his client wasn,t present.

After the guilty pleas, Pelletier ordered a pre-sentence report on Williamson.
