NAGE National Representative Martin Williamson filed a unfair labor practice ( ULP ) on behalf of all VA Hospitals within region 1 of the Veterans Integrated Service Network ( VISN 1 ).He said that VISN 1 Network Director Dr. Denis J. Fitzgerald has continually left NAGE out of discussions about the future.In several instances hospital employees found out about changes through the local newspaper , Williamson said.A recent article in a New Hampshire newspaper described how all nine VA hospitals in New England would shift to focus on ambulatory care.This was never even discussed with our people..
