Charlotte, NC - Marshall Williamson recently joined First Colony Corporation, a leading provider of real estate services and products in the Carolinas, as Vice President - Office Sales and Leasing.His responsibilities include facilitating the completion of new acquisitions and brokerage transactions as well as managing office leasing brokers.

Williamson came to First Colony from CB Richard Ellis where he represented landlords and tenants in the development and execution of their real estate strategies.During his real estate career, he has assisted clients throughout each step of the real estate process on local and national platforms.
"In addition to traditional office real estate transactions, First Colony has creative solutions for build-to-suit and sale lease back requirements," Williamson said."I am eager to work with the brokerage community to help them develop and sell these innovative solutions to their clients."
Williamson is a licensed real estate broker in both North Carolina and South Carolina and is a member of The National Association of Realtors and the North Carolina Association of Realtors.He is also a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors, and has been recognized annually in the Deal Makers Awards, this year receiving an award for reaching $10 million in sales and leasing for 2006.Williamson is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a degree in history.
Active in the community, his other memberships include The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and Goodfellows Club.In addition, he is a business consultant to Junior Achievement and a former operating grants panelist for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Arts & Science Council.He is a founding member of the Bridge Foundation and the Levine Children's Hospital Dream Catcher Society.
