Prior to PlaceWare, Williamson was vice president of marketing at NARUS and Keynote Systems where she took Keynote through its initial pubic offering.Williamson was successful in helping grow the company to over $50M in revenue by positioning Keynote as the independent Internet performance authority during the very public hacker 'denial of service' attacks.
Williamson has also held various management positions in marketing and corporate communications at IBM, Acer America, Apple Computer and Zenith Data Systems.Before joining IBM, she was vice president of marketing at Acer, where Marketing Computers Magazine named her "High Tech Brander of the Year".Williamson also worked at Apple, where she managed the marketing strategies for the Macintosh Performa line, and Zenith Data Systems, where she was the director of worldwide marketing communications and sales promotions.She holds a BS in journalism from Ohio University and an MBA in marketing from DePaul University.
