Margie is an administrator and associate professor of Christian Education Ministries at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, North Georgia Campus.She holds a Ph.D. in Christian education and an M.A.C.E., both from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Georgia.Margie brings the experience of having numerous works published along with the necessary educational background to make a powerful contribution to the Life Bible Study Advisory Board.

Dr. Margie Williamson is the Executive Editor for Life Bible Study in Birmingham, Alabama.She previously served as an administrator and Associate Professor of Christian Education Ministries at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Atlanta campus.Her favorite class to teach was Instructional Theory and Practice, which is designed to help students become better teachers.She cares passionately about the teaching process within the church and helping teachers find new ways to expound the Bible.She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Georgia in Social Work and completed both an M.A.C.E. and a Ph.D. in Christian Education through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.She has written teaching curriculum for over 25 years and has been published in several theological journals.She previously served as Minister of Youth at First Baptist Church of Lithonia and as a Church Growth Specialist for the Atlanta Baptist Association.Dr. Williamson is most proud of her family.Her husband Bob has served the First Baptist Church of Decatur, Georgia, for over 17 years.Her son Scott and his wife Wendy are the parents of her first grandchild, commonly referred to as "Nate the Great."He lives up to his title by using Margie's favorite word, "naw naw," which is his way of saying "I love you."Her daughter Jenna is a student at Georgia Southern University.
