Margaret Williamson

Margaret Williamson is joining CPSU's team to undertake an Occupational Health and Safety education program across Victorian public sector agencies.Margaret aims to provide greater access to information for HSR's and members regarding psych-social issues such as stress and bullying through increased guidance material dissemination and training activities.Margaret has a strong health and safety background, having worked with a number of unions and the Department of Labor in a variety of OHS roles.Margaret commences on 10 June 2003.

After urgent talks attended by the OH&S rep, a co worker, CPSU's Occupational Health and Safety Officer, Margaret Williamson, and officials from the Department, an extension of time was negotiated so that real consultation can begin on the above issues.

There have been concerns about how little discussion there has been about health and safety matters for SSSOs.
