Borough Council President Ken Williamson addressed the board saying that about three months ago, council changed its meetings to the second Monday of the month as to not conflict with the school board, which, in 2007, met on the third and fourth Mondays.

"You guys make your meetings and we'll go from there," Williamson said, saying the council will consider changing its meetings at its reorganizational meeting.

JERSEY SHORE - Borough Council President Ken Williamson said he, as council president, legally has the power to make a person leave a public borough council meeting and from now on he will be the only person to carry out that deed.

Council member Ken Williamson said River Valley Transit had come to the borough last year to discuss its plans.Although it does not need council's permission, council can stop the bus runs by voting against them, he said.
