Anglo Estates director Ken Williamson has dropped legal action against Shire chief executive Mike Archer for damages for alleged negligent misrepresentation and misleading or deceptive conduct in trade or commerce under the Trade Practices and Fair Trading Acts.

Mr Williamson said he believed it was the sensible thing to do.It would have achieved little or nothing.
If the action was successful it would have been only a moral victory if there was a victory at all.
Mr Williamson said he had a good working relationship with the Shire.
Good sales at Le Grande Estate were not a reason he dropped the action.
He said the sales acceleration had happened only in the past couple of months and stopping legal action pre-dated the latest burst of activity.
