Keith H. Williamson was appointed President, Capital Services Division of Pitney Bowes Inc. in February 1999.In this role, Keith manages the Division that specializes in financing a
wide variety of capital equipment, including distribution and office facilities, postal automation projects, aircraft, rail and trucking equipment, as well as a new suite of web-enabled financial services.The Division has a portfolio of over $2 billion in assets and generates over $60 million in net income.
Keith reports to Matthew S. Kissner, Group President and Chief Venture Officer, Pitney Bowes Information Based Solutions.At the time of Keith's appointment, Michael J. Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, Keith was an Associate in the law firm of Reavis and McGrath (now Fulbright and Jaworski) in New York City.He began his career in Washington, D.C. with the law firm of Covington & Burling.Keith has steadily risen through the ranks at Pitney Bowes since he joined the Financial Services Division (PBFS) as Director of Taxes in 1988.He was promoted to Assistant General Counsel in 1993 and to Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of PBFS in 1994.In April, 198, he assumed additional responsibilities as Senior Associate General Counsel - Mergers & Acquisitions for all of Pitney Bowes.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Keith received his B.A. from Brown University, his J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University Law School.
A resident of Stamford, Connecticut, Keith serves on the board of directors of the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, the United Way of Stamford, and the New Canaan Country School.He is also on the board of various Pitney Bowes subsidiaries.Keith is a founder of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Urban League's Black Executive Exchange Program.
