Kathleen S. Williamson obtained her undergraduate degree from Rice University in 1973 and earned her Master of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of Houston in 1979.She was licensed by the state of Texas as a CPA in 1979 and was accredited as a Personal Financial Specialist by the American Institute of CPAs in 1996.
Kathleen worked for Arthur Andersen and several local CPA firms before joining Ferguson Camp Poll in 1999.In addition to providing personal financial planning services to individuals, she also performs tax compliance and planning engagements for individuals, estates and trusts, and small businesses.
Kathleen is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs (where she has served as vice-chair and chair of the Personal Financial Planning Committee and as chair of the Seminars Committee), and the Houston Estate and Financial Forum.She is also active in historic preservation and served on the Board and as Treasurer of the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance.Kathleen enjoys conducting monthly walking tours of historic neighborhoods and cemeteries for the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance.
