Kathy Williamson graduated from Trocaire College in Buffalo, New York with an AAS in Early Childhood Education.In 1977, she moved to Newport News and accepted a job with KinderCare Learning Centers as an afternoon teacher.During her 10 years of employment, she served in the capacities of teacher, assistant director, director and area manager.As a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, Ms. Williamson serves in various capacities including 6 years on the church council.In 1998, Reformation Lutheran Church decided to begin the childcare center.Kathy was selected as the director, but left after the center was functioning.In 2002, Ms. Williamson returned as director of the childcare center.Kathy is married with 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren.Learn more about RLC Childcare.
