Williamson attended the Auslander Institut at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and received her bachelor's degree from Stanford University.Her law degree is from Fordham University School of Law.She is a 28-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, and her current practice includes representation of buyers, sellers, investors, developers, landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers.
Williamson has been involved with developer Town Center Properties in the revitalization of Opa-locka, and she is working with Miami-Dade County,Poinciana Partners and other entities in the development of Poinciana Biopharmaceutical Park.
In addition, one of Williamson's joys in the commercial real estate business is working with her sons.One is a developer in South Florida and founderof Republic Real Estate Advisors and Florida Republic Properties.The other is president of a biopharmaceutical research company in California.Williamson and her husband, Bob, have four grandchildren.
Active within Akerman Senterfitt, Williamson supervises the Miami real estate department's mentoring program and oversees a significant part of thefirm's condominium closings.
Williamson was the second woman to be named chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of The Florida Bar and is an active member of the Section's Legislative Committee.She is president-elect of CREW Miami, a delegate to CREW National and a board member of CREW Foundation.
