B.A., University of Illinois, with Honors; M.A. in English Literature, University of Wisconsin.Before coming to SVCC in 1989, Mrs. Williamson worked as an instructor of English at Northern Illinois University.During her years at SVCC she has taught classes in composition, reading, foreign film, and women's literature, served on the Honors committee, and worked on the team that established The Write Place.She serves as a faculty consultant to the Advanced Placement in English and writes articles for the Salem Press Masterplots series and professional journals.
