Jesse Williamson is a HUD fellow and candidate for a Master's degree in City Planning at MIT, in the Housing and Community Economic Development group.He has taken a generalist approach, combining a dedication to sustainability and environmental issues with an interest in community building and international affairs.He balanced his undergraduate education at UC Berkeley (majoring in African American Studies and Human Biodynamics) with extensive involvement in campus and community activism.While at New Ecology, Jesse is providing planning and logistical support for the Green CDC Initiative, as well as researching how NEI can support the Environmental Justice Policy strategy of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs.
