Jane Williamson qualified as a solicitor in 1981, originally specialising in criminal law.It was her involvement with juvenile crime which led to a keen interest in child abuse work and adoption issues, working closely with local authorities and other professional bodies.

Jane, previously a partner in a Manchester practice, is experienced in all aspects of family law, but offers additional expertise in the areas of childcare and adoption.She joined Susan Howarth & Company Solicitors as a partner in January 2000.Jane is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and also has an interest in education law as a result of her involvement as chairman of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.

The firm was further strengthened when Jane Williamson joined the practice as a partner in January 2000, adding her experience gained in the fields of family law and child protection.
