Jane has been with HealthSmart since 1994 and is responsible for all aspects of HealthSmart's Operations departments.

Jane's managed care experience consists of utilization review services and medical bill repricing.She has also been a health claims examiner for a third party administrator.In addition, Jane has eighteen years experience with a multi-specialty medical practice utilizing various capacities, including office nurse, patient accounts, collection, and office manager.Jane has spent another eight years in various other clinical settings, which include hospital, public health, and school nursing.

Jane graduated from Hillcrest Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Waco, Texas.She attended pre-nursing courses at Texas Tech University.As a licensed RN for the State of Texas, Jane continues her education by attending classes for re-licensure and utilization review (Texas Medical Foundation and InterQual Certification Seminar).She also attends various managed care seminars, which include case management and the Association of Managed Healthcare Organization (AMHO).
