Jan Williamson, Director of Preschool Ministry, grew up in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and graduated from Winthrop University and the University of Washington.She worked as a hospital teacher at the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center for thirteen years before joining the staff of Peachtree in 2000.Jan's passion is supporting leaders and parents as they nurture children in faith.Her greatest joy in ministry is hearing our little ones claim for themselves, "Jesus loves me." Drawing on her background working with families of children with special needs and with the families of children who are hospitalized, Jan also coordinates our special needs ministry and serves as the staff support for our Families with Children Pastoral Care Team.
Jan enjoys reading, baking, following college sports, time at the beach, and being with family, including her niece and nephew who live nearby.
