Ms. Williamson is a Board member for the Texas Department on Aging and is co-chair of the Candidate and Recruitment Committee of the R Club.She is on the Advisory Committee of the Houston Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section.Ms. Williamson is a member of the Houston Bar Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation.

Previously, Ms. Williamson was a partner with Andrews & Kurth in Houston.She served as clerk to the Honorable Edith Hollan Jones, Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

EDUCATION

Ms. Williamson received her Bachelor of Business Degree with honors in 1977, and her law degree, magna cum laude, in 1985.She was the Casenotes Editor of the South Texas Law Review and a member of the Order of Lytae.

During her 17 years of practice, Holly Williamson has served as primary regional employment counsel to many Houston- and Texas-based corporations, particularly in the chemical; transportation; oil and gas production, retailing and servicing; and telecommunications industries.She frequently appears in Texas and Louisiana state and federal trial and appellate courts representing companies throughout the states of Texas and Louisiana in complex litigation involving trade secrets, unfair competition, discrimination and harassment claims, and wage and hour issues.She was appointed to the board of the Texas Board on Aging in 1995 by then-Governor George W.
