Henry C. was on First Virginia Mountain Empire board of directors, serving as chairman and vice chairman.He worked and supported 4-H for more than 50 years and was selected as outstanding 4-H Leader in Washington County.He also served on Congressman Boucher's Beef and Tobacco Committee, Southern State Cooperative board member, Farm Bureau Board Member, F. F. A. Honorary Chapter Farmer at Holston High School.He was a well-known farmer, auctioneer, and real estate appraiser and was a member and past trustee of Zion United Methodist Church.
