HOLTON -- Goldye A. Williamson, 100, formerly of Holton, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at a Topeka nursing home.

She was born June 20, 1901, in Onaga, the daughter of Fred B. and Jeanette Downs McKinsey.

Mrs. Williamson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Holton, where she served as a deacon and a member of the Mary Circle.She was a charter member of the Jackson County Historical Society and the Holton Hospital Auxiliary.She was past president to the Mary L. Bair Unit No. 44 of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Brick Grange and a 50-year member of the Columbian Chapter No. 152 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
