But the Tennessee Firearms Association's opposition has been deemed a "sell-out" by Ed Williamson, with the Rights Education Fund.

In a press statement, Williamson claimed that Harris e-mailed supporters saying the bill would not only waive the $65 to $250 cost of range and classroom training, but also eliminate the state's $115.00 application fee.

Williamson then accused Harris of being more concerned about firearms instructors possibly losing out on fees than the right to keep and bear arms.
