Drew Eric Williamson, 19, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., passed peacefully from this life early Sunday morning, May 2, 2004, with his loving family by his side.

Drew was a student in the special needs class at Homestead High School and was a member of Southwest Lutheran Church in Ft. Wayne, Ind.He enjoyed athletics, singing and dancing, watching game shows, playing cards (especially Old Maid and UNO), and had a great love for bowling.Drew was awarded a number of ribbons for his success in the standing broad jump, the fifty-meter dash, and the softball throw in the Special Olympics.In September 2003, he and his family, through a gift from the Indiana Children's Wish Fund, sat in the audience during Drew's favorite game show, "The Price Is Right."Drew met and shook hands with one of his heroes, Bob Barker, following the show.

Drew will be remembered for his contagious smile, good sense of humor, strong will, and the playing card that he always carried with him.He loved life and held a strong faith in God.He had the ability to show others what was truly important in life by living his faith and carrying a positive outlook no matter what the circumstance.Drew touched many lives and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
