The ninth biennial Legal Writing Institute ( LWI ) conference , Moving On : Preparing Students for Life After the First Year , was held in Seattle at the Seattle University School of Law , from July 19th through July 22nd , 2000 , with an evening reception on the 19th.Presentations explored curriculum choices , problem design , and interaction with students , in both the first year and upper year legal writing courses , directed toward assuring students' success after they leave the classroom.
