    Donald Williamson is a highly respected systems psychologist, who has served on the faculties of Duke University, University of Houston and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.He has been President, Fellow and Master Therapist with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a Fellow of American Psychological Association and a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology.He has authored a book entitled "The Intimacy Paradox" (Guilford, 1991) and 45 journal articles.Presently Senior Fellow at the Leadership Institute of Seattle, his current area of special interest--in his writing, teaching and research-- is Leadership and Integrity and the relationship between these important concepts.

    Donald Williamson has taught and practiced systems thinking, as applied to families, groups and organizations for forty years.As tenured faculty, he taught psychology to seminarians at Duke University in the 1960's; he was Dean of the Institute of Religion and Human Development in Texas Medical Center, Co-Founder of the Houston Family Institute and Clinical Associate Professor in Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston in the 1970's; he was Professor of Family Medicine and Director of the Family Stress Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine in the 1980's.In 1992 he came to the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) as Associate Dean, and since 1999 has been Senior Fellow at LIOS.
