The vote of the members with respect to the proposed bylaws will take place at the regular meeting to be held on September 2, 1999.All members of ITIL are urged to become informed about the proposed new bylaws and to make their feelings known by voting on this issue.Since only members in good standing (i.e., who have paid their dues for 1999) are eligible to vote, anyone who has not paid dues for this year is encouraged to do so at the earliest opportunity.

In attendance at the meeting were Miranda Stevens-Miller (Chair), Beth Plotner, Amy Roder, Marsha Jackson, Bobbie, Barbara, Siobhan Doran, Gerrie Sanford, Nicole Taylor, and Diana Williamson.

Diana Williamson, Secretary/Treasurer, reported that the TG Pride Celebration in June was a financial success, with the net profit from the event exceeding $2,400.Since there are a few payments for tickets and program book advertising that have not yet been received, the final net profit may be even larger.ITIL also has a new telephone number, which is (312) 409-5489.Chair and Vice Chair reports were incorporated in the agenda for the remainder of the meeting.
ENDA INTRODUCTION – ITIL RESPONSEAt the urging of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) has once again been introduced in the United States House of Representatives and Senate without any provisions to protect gender variant people.

Any member of ITIL may request a copy of the proposed revisions to the Bylaws from Diana Williamson.Such requests may be made by e-mail to DianaAW@aol.com or by regular mail to the ITIL Post Office address.Copies will also be available at the regular monthly meeting in August.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
