  Della K. Williamson, State of TexasPast PresidentMs. Williamson is Program Administrator for the Texa$aver Deferred Compensation Program for the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS).The Texa$aver Program includes both 457 and 401(k) Plans.As Program Administrator her responsibilities include oversight and monitoring of the Third Party Administrator, advisory service provider and product vendors, investment selection and review, RFP and RFI development, contract negotiations, contract monitoring, plan rules, plan documents, and legislative issues that pertain to the defined contribution plans.In addition to those responsibilities are coordinating communications and education.
  
  Della began with the Texa$aver Program in 1990.She has been involved in all aspects of the Program from the beginning.Through research and preparation, the Texas defined contribution plans were completely restructured.In her leadership role she guided the successful transition from bundled to unbundled for both Plans and through selection and conversion to a new Third Party Administrator.Investment Advice was added to the Program in September 2004.
  
  Prior to employment with ERS, Della had experience with employee benefits in other state agencies and the City of Austin.She is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.She holds professional designations of Certified Retirement Administrator (CRA) and Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC).She is currently a Member of the NAGDCA Board (National Association of Governmental Defined Contribution Administrators).
