Clarence W. Williamson, Jr.Clarence began his business career in commercial banking.He later operated his family owned wholesale distribution company.He became involved with the Georgia Retraining Tax Credit in 1998, and through 2002 served as VP of Economic Development for Atlanta Technical College, and main approving agent for Metro Atlanta and Fulton County.

He has utilized his business and finance background as an underpinning for working in administration and economic development positions with postsecondary institutions in Atlanta and later with the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education.There his responsibilities included serving as the liaison in Fulton County for Georgia "Quick Start," International Trade Data Network, Certified Specialist Training Programs, Customized Training Initiatives, and the Retraining Tax Credit Program.

Clarence is involved with local business and community activities and currently serves on the board of directors of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Red Oak Neighborhood Network Center, South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, South Fulton Dollars for Scholars, and the United Way of Fulton County.
