News 13â€s Chris Williamson has tonightâ€s big local story.Chris?

CHRIS WILLIAMSON, KRQE-TV NEWS 13 REPORTER: It was her Saturday morning routine.
    ...
WILLIAMSON: It was a voter registration card for an Edward Gomez.
    ...
WILLIAMSON: Fred Chanatry is also steamed.
    ...
WILLIAMSON: He received a phony voter registration card last week, but this one was more clever, at least it got his name mostly right.
    ...
WILLIAMSON: 74 - year - old Donald Clark died from lung cancer in March 2002.
    ...
WILLIAMSON: Each of these bogus voter registration cards means a new voter has been created and whoever filled out the cards has the minimal information theyâ€ll need to cast that ballot.

(on camera): It may be an inconvenience, but perhaps the best thing to do if you receive a false voter registration card is to take it back in person to the county clerkâ€s office, that way theyâ€ll have all the information they need to remove the phony voter from the rolls.Chris Williamson, KRQE News 13.
