    ,From my standpoint, the senate has more influence on the election packet than someone who is not elected,, Health Professions Senator Zane Williams said after the meeting.

    Williams said that last year the Elections Committee and the senate struggled as they worked on approving the elections packet, the information that guides candidates during the election, when half of the senate was running for office again.The senators, he said, tried to influence the way the election would take place because the committee had to pass any changes it made through the senate for approval.This left the unelected candidates without a voice and the elected candidates with an unfair advantage.

    In Monday's Weber State University Student Senate meeting, Health Professions Senator Zane Williams told the senators that in the future students might need to reserve a time take a test in the testing center.

    Williams said that at the Health Professions Learning Center, students already have to make an appointment to take a test on the Chi Tester.

    Williams expressed concern about the possibility that students would need to reserve a time to take tests in the testing center to avoid lines.
