TANISHA WILLIAMS(Founder & Editor-in-Chief of the Renaissance Women Magazine) This informational, motivational entertainment publication is geared towards women aspiring, curious or active in careers in the television, music and film industries.Ms. Williams was exposed to the arts at the tender age of 11 when she performed tap, ballet and modern dance at Tina's Dance Studio in Killeen, TX.She went on to model occasionally through Sophisticated Children's Modeling Agency in New York and later attended Page Parkes School of Modeling.She comes from a military background and oftentimes found her home life unstable and the end result landed her on her own at 16.Nether less, she was determined to complete high school and continued to excel competing in Shorthand competitions as a member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).No stranger to hard work and perseverance, soon after, she graduated from The Art Institute of Dallas with an AA degree in Television and Video Production.
In 1998, Ms. Williams' dedication to the arts led her to Los Angeles in search of pursuing her dreams as a screenwriter.She gained valuable experience during her tenure at the infamous William Morris Agency, Don Cornelius Productions, RKO Pictures, Motown Live, New Line Cinema and ICM.

Ms. Williams has also appeared in commercials, music videos, magazines and movies.She has volunteered her time at the AVIVA Center in Hollywood teaching young girls creative writing and spearheaded involvement of African-American volunteers at the Suicide Prevention Center.
In a male-dominated industry, Ms. Williams and her peers found it very difficult at times to stay motivated, or get information or assistance that they needed to pursue their careers effectively.So, in 2000 she established the Imagine that... Entertainment in an effort to launch the Renaissance Women Magazine.
