Williams handles numerous duties including the budget, scheduling, tournament organization and she will assist with the Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and CHAMPS/Life-Skills programs.
Williams oversaw budget issues and planned and executed logistics for team travel for the Virginia women's basketball program.She also oversaw game day operations and arranged and coordinated official visits for prospects.In addition, she scheduled community outreach programs, speaking engagements and interviews for the players and staff.
Williams was the Assistant Director of Operations and Video Coordinator for the Ohio State University women's basketball team before moving on to Virginia.She coordinated film exchange with opponents, edited game film, created scouting videos and compiled ticket requests.
Prior to her time at Ohio State and Virginia, Williams spent almost five years in the business world at National Cash Register in Atlanta, and the Otis Elevator Company and the Doneger Group in New York.
Williams received her undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University in 1994 and a Master of Business Administration at Clark Atlanta University in 2000.Williams was a four-year varsity basketball player at Bowling Green.Her sister, Tamika, played basketball at the University of Connecticut and currently for the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx.A native of Dayton, Ohio, she is a member of the Chaminade-Julienne High School Athletic Hall of Fame.She lives in West Haven.
