Tammy Williams, MATEarly Childhood Specialist

Tammy is the staff liaison for the Quality Early Education Practices Committee, which is focusing its efforts on developing a model for transition planning and an associated toolkit.Tammy is also involved in the Accreditation Network and the Professional Development Committee.In addition to her work at the EPI-Center, she is a validator for NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), working with for early education centers to complete the accreditation process.

Prior to joining the EPI-Center, she was a director of early education centers, primarily at Wee the People, located in downtown Pittsburgh.

Tammy holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Allegheny College and a Master of Arts in Teaching, with a certificate in Elementary Education, from the University of Pittsburgh.
