Lisa was admitted as an attorney in February 1998 and, whilst she had experience in civil litigation, estates and debt collection, she has always had an interest in labour law and specialised exclusively in this area when she commenced practice for her own account in May 2000.Her practice is focused solely on employment law, with a focus on contract drafting, consulting and dispute resolution.

Lisa was appointed as a part-time commissioner at the CCMA in November 1999 and is a part-time commissioner with a number of other bargaining council panels, such as the Motor Industry Bargaining Council, the Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council, the Bargaining Council for the Furniture Manufacturing Industry (KZN) and the Education Labour Relations Bargaining Council.She has been a part-time lecturer at Varsity College and the School for Paralegal Studies and also conducts training courses on labour legislation and the conducting of disciplinary hearings.

Lisa is based in Durban.
