    Picture of Lesley WilliamsLesley qualified as a solicitor in 1988 having had a life long interest in ,knowing all the laws of the land'!She joined the CPS in February 1989 for a couple of years' advocacy experience but as the Service developed she was drawn to the different career opportunities and never left.

    Lesley started prosecuting in East Lancashire then, in 1994, looking for a new challenge started delivering in-house training for CPS.After completing the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development Certificate in Training Practice she was involved in flagship programmes on Disclosure under the CPIA 1996 and the Human Rights Act 1998.

    Lesley joined the Learning & Development Team in 2001 as Training Principal and now has responsibility for the award-winning Law Scholarship and Legal Trainee schemes.She continues to deliver training and has recently worked in association with the Bar Council and Midland circuit.Lesley works closely with universities and colleges and sits on the Academic Advisory Panel of BPP Manchester Law School.
