"We have as many tires outside the (main) warehouse as we have inside it," company CEO Bill Williams said.

The addition, which is expected to open in late July, will double storage capacity to about 170,000 tires, Williams said.
"Fifty percent of our business is wholesale," Williams said. The company ships about 3,500 tires daily from the Moosic warehouse to customers in a 150-mile radius.
About 90 people work at the headquarters, including 40 in a 10,000-square-foot administrative area that will be expanded to about 25,000 square feet.
"It's a little cozy," Williams said, recalling that the administrative area accommodated about 10 people when the company moved to the site in 1988.
About 425 people work for Jack Williams Tire, up from about 350 early in 2007.Most of the employment expansion occurred through the 2007 acquisition of Lehigh Tire in the Allentown area, Williams said.
