Ava is a Principal of State Street Global Advisors and a Senior Strategist in the Global Strategy and Product Development team.With a global focus, she works with SSgA's business heads and investment teams to assist in the formulation and implementation of strategic planning and product development.Previously, Ava was a senior member of the Global Enhanced Equity Group.She focused on client communication, product development and investment management.

Prior to joining SSgA in 1999, Ava worked at UAM Investment Services, an affiliate of United Asset Management, where she managed the research group.She has worked in the investment management industry since 1985, holding positions at various investment management organizations as well as Callan Associates, Inc.

Ava holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English Writing and Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound.She earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
