Williams-Roberts is a barrister of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and holds a bachelor of laws degree with honors from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, and a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica.

She also holds a certificate in legislative drafting from the University of London's Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.

Additionally, Williams-Roberts is a belonger, a 1988 graduate of the British Virgin Islands High School, now the Elmore Stoutt High School.
