During her studies Natasha was exposed to cultural differences; the first being those of her new compatriots (the Dutch) and thereafter those of the Russians via her work at the Ministry of Education in Moscow.Her final thesis was completed at the National University of Lesotho, South Africa, where she was again exposed to issues involving integration and understanding of Southern African culture.During her studies, she started StiASAA, a foundation which helps freshmen students coming from the Dutch Antillean islands to a better understanding of studying and living in The Netherlands.She has co-published several booklets on this topic.

From 1996 - 1998 Natasha worked for Hollandse Signaalapparaten where she was mainly responsible for coordinating a program on establishing the European Policy for Training & Development within six European subsidiaries of Thomson CSF.Aside from this she was also acting training manager for the business and administration courses supporting line managers in setting up their yearly training plans.In September 1998 she joined KPMG where she worked as a multimedia consultant within eWorkforce.During this period she developed interactive computer-based training products for European clients.Some of her consulting projects were carried out for GAK Nederland B.V, KPMG Assurance, Citibank NA Spain and Benelux, Structon Railinfra Services, Chello and Schuitema.

Inspired by her daily experiences of living and working in The Netherlands (with a Latin American - Dutch Caribbean background) and being exposed to different cultural & management styles in Europe, Southern Africa and Latin America she became very interested in how to take advantage of cultural diversity within a business context.Natasha joined Trompenaars Hampden-Turner in 2000 as a consultant and trainer in intercultural management.

Her recent projects include Trixell (Joint Venture between Siemens, Philips, Thomson), Dow Chemical, Stockholm School of Economics, Wolters Kluwer, Andersen, M-Real,CSM and the cultural integration of the Dutch-German NCM-Gerling insurance companies.
