Lindsey qualifed as a Chartered Accountant way back in 1988, having done her training with Coopers & Lybrand.She stayed with Coopers for a further three years after qualifying, and then joined a small food production company for a while, before joining Cornwall Healthcare (now Partnership) Trust in January 1993.
Between 1998 and 2002, Lindsey was seconded to the Chief Executive's Office to lead on three PFI projects (with three different PFI Partners!) all of which are now built and operational.After this, she had a spell at North & East Cornwall PCT, before joining Plymouth PCT in December 2004 to take responsibility for the LIFT (local improvement finance trust) project together with capital schemes for Plymouth PCT.
