Councillor Linda Wild represents the Paddock Ward in Kirklees.She is an Undergraduate Student Placement Adviser at the University of Huddersfield negotiating 12-month placements in industry for engineering students by dealing with companies of all sizes within the UK and Europe.

She is a Director of Leeds Bradford International Airport and the Yorkshire Tourist Board and a past member of the Yorkshire and Humberside Flood Defence Committee where she served during the region's worst flooding in 400 years.

Linda has a BA (Hons) in English and Communication Arts and is married with one daughter.Her interests include community and environmental issues and collecting all types of pottery, particularly teapots.
