• Billing records.You should also pay careful attention to make sure that your billing system is up to par and that therapists accurately and appropriately record delivered services, Wild says.

"You need to look at the type of billing records you use to make sure that everything is getting captured and also, if there's an audit, will the [billing] stand up," Wild says.
