Loving to talk, Julie seemed destined for the world of radio!But it wasn,t until a year at the University of Guelph radio station and half a year with Rogers Television in Durham Region, that Julie realized she enjoyed being behind a microphone rather than a camera.

After receiving her Radio Broadcasting Diploma from Humber College, Julie completed a radio co-op in Cambridge, and then took her first on-air gig in Barrie.After a summer of weekends in Barrie, Julie made the long trip to Cornwall where she stayed for a year and a half, working on and off-air.

Wanting to be closer to her family, Julie was thrilled to be offered a position with FM 98.5 CKWR.Starting in September 2005, Julie instantly loved the Region and all it has to offer.
