    Andrew Wilbey obtained his first degree in Biochemistry (University of Wales) and then gained a masters in Food Technology (Reading).

    He worked for 14 years in the dairy industry.Andrew has been a Lecturer at The University of Reading since 1983, where his main interests are processing of liquid foods (dairy technology, water treatment & oenology).

    He has been an active member (including Chairman) of the IFST Western Branch and is a past Hon Treasurer of IFST.

    Andrew's other interests include rowing and he helps in the organisation of regattas and head of the river races.
